YOUR FIRST VISIT

During your initial visit, you will complete the appropriate forms regarding your pain and mechanism of injury.  The doctor will perform a detailed examination and will ask you some questions about your health history and the nature of your injuries. After your examination, the doctor will discuss your diagnosis, mode and frequency of treatment.  If X-rays or other forms of imaging are necessary, the doctor will refer you out for the appropriate tests.

The doctor will assess you for musculoskeletal injuries.  In some instances there may be other complications, and in such a situation, the doctor will refer you to the proper health provider for e.g. orthopedics, neurologists, internists etc..  most patients are treated on the first day unless there are some type of contraindication.  The type of treatment that you will receive will consist of chiropractic care and physical therapy.
