Dr. Rebekah Brown graduated from the University of Maryland College Park in 2002. Her studies included Psychology and Cell, Molecular Biology and Genetics. After graduation, she began work in counseling, but then decided to pursue medicine to meld both of her undergraduate interests. Thereafter, she pursued her medical degree and graduated in 2011 from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. Subsequently, she completed her internship in family medicine at Grant Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio; and her residency in general preventive medicine and public health from the University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore, Maryland. During that time, she also obtained a Masters of Science degree in Epidemiology. Since completing her training in 2014, Dr. Brown has worked in the government sector providing occupational medicine and injury care to government employees. She is passionate about wellness, injury care and injury prevention. She is double boarded by the American Board of Preventive Medicine in Occupational Medicine and Public Health/General Preventive Medicine. She is also certified by the National Registry of Certified Medical Examiners to provide DOT exams and by the American Association of Medical Review Officers as an MRO for employment related drug testing. During her free time, Dr. Brown enjoys traveling, spending time with family and reading.
Dr. Nesly Clerge Attended the University of Maryland (College Park) and graduated in May 2000 with a bachelor’s degree in Physiology and Neurobiology. Dr. Clerge applied to Chiropractic school the following year and graduated from Logan Chiropractic College in April 2005 with a Doctor of Chiropractic Degree. Dr. Clerge worked at The Manassas Chiropractic and Rehab Center where he treated patients with complaints of musculoskeletal injuries. In 2008, he worked at the Hankook Medical Center located in Virginia as a chiropractic radiology consultant. While at Hankook, he consulted patients and analyzed X-rays for patients who were imaged in that facility.
Dr. Clerge is also a National Registry Certified Medical Examiner. The National Registry of Certified Medical Examiners (National Registry) is a Federal program that establishes requirements for healthcare professionals who perform physical qualification examinations for truck and bus drivers.
In 2014, Dr. Clerge was selected and recognized as a “worldwide leader in healthcare” and “Top Chiropractor” in Washington, DC by the International Association of Chiropractors. Dr. Clerge believes in the multidisciplinary model, and had the opportunity to join the Metro Medical Clinic in 2009. While at Metro Medical , he co-managed the care of several personal injury patients alongside an experienced neurologist. During the several years at Metro Medical, he was able to enhance his knowledge of treatment protocols, soft tissue injuries, neurological disorders, while liaising with other healthcare practitioners. Dr. Clerge has also served as expert witness in several court cases dealing with personal injuries. Dr. Clerge has successfully treated thousands of patients over the past several years. Many of these patients suffered from acute traumas and soft tissue injuries due to motor vehicle accidents. He has also been successful in treating patients with arthritis, neck, shoulder, elbow, knee, ankle and lower back pain, headaches, chronic pains, and carpel tunnel syndrome.
Dr , Heon Jang is a graduate of Medical College of Virginia Campus, Virginia Commonwealth University. Additionally He has attended South Western University in the Philippines and Won kang Health science college in Korea. He served in the Korean Air Force as a medic contributing to the Air Force Military health and readiness and was discharged honorably after 30 months of service. He has had over a decade of clinical experience as a Physical Therapy Practitioner focusing an orthopedic conditions and sports injuries. His academic and clinical training include spinal manipulation throughout three semesters at Wonkang Health Science, and Functional Dry Needling over 100 hours for Pain Management and sports Injuries at Kinetacore Institute. His approach is unique in that he tries to focus on the origin of the clinical symptoms even for extremity overuse syndromes and acute injuries. This comes from his own treatment for the injuries he sustained while practicing Martial arts and practicing manual therapy for diverse spinal patients. He has practiced Martial arts in Taekwondo, Kickboxing, kendo, boxing and has seen various martial arts associated injuries. He also has worked on diverse scoliosis patients helping them with a pain free lifestyle. He is currently working at Pain and Rehab Center , DC as a clinical Director. He has also worked at the Montgomery Sports Medicine Center , MD as a staff Physical Therapist .
